Today I’m going to share with you how I manage to hit a Homerun every time I give a gift to Olga. It’s all thanks to an incredible company called Evernote. Evernote is a “remember everything” service that give you an easy way to quickly capture things you want to remember. I’ve been using the service for over a year now and Evernote has become my auxiliary brain, allowing me to store and recall everything I’ll ever need to remember about my life and business. I use it to keep track of notes, web pages, photographs, voice memos and scraps of paper, and to store them online in the cloud for easy access on my Mac, iPhone, and iPad (Evernote is also available for Windows, Android, Blackberry, etc).

And as I demonstrate in the video above, I also use Evernote to ensure that I only give Olga gifts that I know she is guaranteed to love. To do this, you need to follow two simple steps.

It’s safe to say that I know Olga better than just about anyone. I know what she likes, what she doesn’t like, what makes her tick, and the values she embraces. And I’m sure you probably feel the same way about your significant other. That said, Olga and I had a date the other night where we probably learned more about each other over the course of a few hours than we did in all of 2011.

We actually weren’t even planning on filming a blog video about the date, but it was so amazing that we wanted to share with all of you. It’s about as simple a date as you could imagine: having a thought-provoking conversation about life, goals, and dreams. And the best part is that you can have this date anywhere — on a nice walk (like Olga and I had in the video above), over a glass of wine, or just cuddling on the couch.

Of course, the most difficult part of having a thought-provoking conversation is coming up with the thought-provoking questions to jumpstart your discussion. Well, I’ve got great news for you. Marc and Angel over at the Marc and Angel Hack Life blog have done all the work for you!
